Examination Fever!

Board examinations are approaching and everywhere we can see this examination fever! Children are geared up for their last minute revision and excited to write their papers now. Enough instructions are being given to them by everyone around, and many phone calls are attended by them. Series of similar questions and answers over all these conversations! Few curious relatives and neighbors may be irritating and making them more anxious. This is the general scenario during examination time.
The hype created for the Board Examinations is absolutely a nuisance. And that’s the reason, parents have the Examination fever! Board examination is just like every examination, but our so called ‘reputation’ in society is unfortunately weighed by the child’s result at the Board Examination! And it becomes truly testing time for parents. Handling child’s anxiety and tantrums on one side and facing pressure by relatives and neighbors on the other side becomes challenging for parents. But remember, your child is the first priority! Parents need to support and stand by their child at such an important phase of their child’s life. Taking care of simple activities in daily routine and health will make child feel fit and comfortable. Keeping pleasant and relaxed environment at home, giving some space to child to be himself/herself and most importantly not giving too many instructions shall help child to cope well during this pressure times.
For students, it’s necessary to follow routine schedule and complete 7-8 hours sleep. Talking to parents or teachers about your anxiety will help to calm down. Checking and following right time table for examination will dodge confusion. Keeping your bag ready with the Hall Ticket, the previous day will avoid last minute rush. Choose your responses to irritating questions by people or pay no heed to them. Focus on your target and try to ignore distractions. Most importantly, be composed and confident to attempt everything that you are prepared for!
Dear students and parents, you are thoroughly ready and equipped with all strategies. So now, simply believe in yourself and face this challenge!
Wishing you good luck for upcoming examinations!
