The new year has begun with the spirit of patriotism. Energy and enthusiasm are at their peak on the outset of Republic Day. Along with chirpy noise at school, there is an additional background sound of ‘Mark Time March’ and similar commands which inspires every student to demonstrate a good march past. March past instils certain values like discipline, orderliness and a good turnout. The 70th Republic Day brought an amazing opportunity our way. Our school was invited to participate at Brihan-Mumbai Interschool Republic Day Parade 2019. It’s an event where many schools in Mumbai come together to march in the presence of eminent personalities from the armed forces. The invitation was an exciting one and all of us at school were thrilled by it! The preparations were initiated and students were given an orientation about the event.
